Volleyball Recap: Harrisburg Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Harrisburg lost against Murphysboro back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18.

Jamisen Green paced Harrisburg's offense, picking up five kills. Green were helped by Emma Morse and McKendra Douglas, who contributed five assists each. Green was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Macey Alexander had a dynamite game For Murphysboro., getting five digs and four aces. That's the most digs Alexander has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Norah Bailey, who had ten digs and one assist.

Harrisburg has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-18 record this season. As for Murphysboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.
