Softball Recap: Savannah Christian Has No Trouble Against Jenkins

While Savannah Christian put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Jenkins. The Raiders blew past the Warriors 18-0. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Savannah Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Jenkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Looking ahead, Savannah Christian will venture away from home to face off against Vidalia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jenkins, they will welcome Long County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Blue Tide's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
