Basketball Recap: Everett Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Everett won the last time they faced McConnellsburg and things went their way on Monday too. The Everett Warriors walked away with a 54-41 victory over the McConnellsburg Spartans. The team accrued 42 points in the first half and coasted on those for the win.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Everett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kirstin Feathers, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Those 11 points gave Feathers a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jade Colledge, who posted 15 points.

Everett smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in nine consecutive matches.

Everett is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for McConnellsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Everett has already played their next contest, a 59-34 victory against Meyersdale on the 8th. As for McConnellsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-37 win against Southern Fulton on the 7th.
