Football Recap: Kimball Skates Past Pinkston with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kimball). They really took it to the Pinkston Vikings for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-16 win. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established a 36-point advantage.

Kimball's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charles McCuin, who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Those two rushing touchdowns gave McCuin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Deonte Washington, who threw for 198 yards and a pair of TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kimball was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Kimball didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of LaDavion Luckett-Matthews and Ace Aguilar.

Kimball's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.8 points over those games. As for Pinkston, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Kimball has already played their next matchup, a 42-6 victory against Roosevelt on the 26th. As for Pinkston, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-13 loss against Lincoln on the 26th.
