Baseball Recap: Kennesaw Mountain Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kennesaw Mountain can now relate to. They fell just short of the Greenbrier Wolfpack by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since April 3rd.

This is the second loss in a row for Kennesaw Mountain and nudges their season record down to 19-13. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only 1.5 runs. As for Greenbrier, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Kennesaw Mountain nor Greenbrier have any future games scheduled.
