The Georgia Christian Generals will head out on the road to take on the Southland Academy Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Georgia Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

The Generals fell just short of Westwood by a score of 4-2 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Generals couldn't push the score so high this time.

Bo Miller was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Southland Academy suffered their closest defeat since March 25th on Thursday. They fell just short of Fullington Academy by a score of 5-3. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Georgia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Southland Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Georgia Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Southland Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, winning 10-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Generals since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
