Soccer Recap: Columbus Takes a Loss

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Burlington Falcons, falling 9-1. That's two games in a row now that Columbus have lost by exactly eight goals.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Burlington, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Columbus will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Danville at 5:00 p.m. As for West Burlington, they will head out on the road to challenge Highland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
