Khalen Matzke Game Report: vs Lake Central

For the first time in his career, Khalen Matzke scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 67 receiving yards and one touchdown, helping propel La Porte past Lake Central by a score of 27-16. Matzke's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Coming up, Matzke and La Porte are taking a road trip to challenge Merrillville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Matzke up against the Pirates' star wideout Mikel Smoot.
