The La Porte Slicers football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Lake Central Indians to 16 in the Slicers league triumph on Friday.

The Slicers now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Merrillville for a Duneland test on Friday, September 26. La Porte will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 44-7 league win over Michigan City (Michigan City, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Lake Central drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Michigan City (Michigan City, IN) to meet the Wolves in a Duneland test on Friday, September 26. The Wolves go into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Michigan City lost 44-7 in their recent league challenge against Merrillville (Merrillville, IN)
