The Frederick Golden Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Monarch Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Frederick is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Friday, Frederick earned a 36-28 win over Poudre. The victory almost wasn't to be: the Golden Eagles were down 28-14 in the second quarter.

It was another big night for Sonny Delpizzo, who rushed for 172 yards and four scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 89 receiving yards. Preston Kissinger was another key player, throwing for 206 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes.
