Hennessey's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They skirted past the Blackwell Maroons 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since September 2nd.

Hennessey's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-15. As for Blackwell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hennessey will challenge Watonga at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blackwell, they will venture away from home to face off against Ponca City at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
