Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission North Comes Up Short

Shawnee Mission North lost against Olathe Northwest on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bison took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ravens. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-10.

Olathe Northwest was led to victory by Amaya Jimenez and Emma Parker. Jimenez had eight digs and two aces, while Parker had 18 assists and two aces.

Shawnee Mission North's loss dropped their record down to 6-10-3. As for Olathe Northwest, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Shawnee Mission North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Olathe North on the 6th. As for Olathe Northwest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Shawnee Mission South on the 6th.
