Football Recap: Dorman Skates Past Blythewood with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dorman had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Blythewood Bengals, posting a 44-13 victory. Considering the Cavaliers have won eight contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Although Blythewood took the loss, they still got scores from Ben Hendrix and Chance Johnson.

Dorman pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.0 points on average over those games. As for Blythewood, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Coming up, Dorman will square off against Ridge View on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cavaliers 12.5, the Blazers 14.1) so any points scored will be well earned. Blythewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
