Baseball Game Preview: Bloomfield Bengals vs. Lodi Rams

The Bloomfield Bengals will square off against the Lodi Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bloomfield has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with six straight losses, while Lodi will come in with six straight wins.

Bloomfield came into this matchup off a tough 12-run defeat on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Memorial by a score of 7-5 on Saturday.

Braeden Weber was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Menake, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Lodi ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Belleville, sneaking past 4-3.

Lodi's victory bumped their record up to 16-5-1. As for Bloomfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.
