Preview: San Jacinto Tigers vs. Tahquitz Titans
San Jacinto is 10-0 against Tahquitz since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The San Jacinto Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Tahquitz Titans at 5:15 p.m. San Jacinto has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 353 points over their last five games.
San Jacinto can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 68-14 win over Citrus Hill at home. With San Jacinto ahead 37-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
San Jacinto's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luv'lee Sadler, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Sadler has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times she's played. Keyera Cameron was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 18 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Tahquitz strolled past Liberty with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 48-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tahquitz.
San Jacinto has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Tahquitz, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
Everything came up roses for San Jacinto against Tahquitz when the teams last played two weeks ago as the team secured a 58-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Jacinto since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
