Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hollister). They blew past the Monterey Dores, posting a 70-39 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Haybalers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Hollister's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-7. As for Monterey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hollister will host Alisal at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monterey, they will be playing at home against Everett Alvarez at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Monterey is facing Everett Alvarez at the right time seeing as Everett Alvarez is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
