Basketball Recap: Exeter Comes Up Short

Exeter was the 41-35 winner over Kingsburg when they last played one another on January 9th, but their luck changed this time around. The Exeter Monarchs lost 49-28 to the Kingsburg Vikings on Wednesday. The Monarchs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

Exeter's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Kingsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.

Exeter will square off against Hanford West at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hanford West will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Exeter surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kingsburg, they will challenge Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingsburg is facing Washington Union at the right time seeing as Washington Union is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
