Soccer Recap: Kimball Takes a Loss

Kimball's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 3-1 to the Lodi Flames. One reason for the loss might be the Jaguars' aggressive play style: Sofia Wright and Italia Bailey were both handed yellow cards.

Kimball's goal came courtesy of Leslie Contreras, which was the first she's scored this season.

Kimball dropped their record down to 2-6-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lodi, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-6-3.

Kimball has already played their next match (against St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lodi will challenge Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
