Football Recap: Terique Graham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead West Point over Westmoreland

West Point lost against Westmoreland back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pointers took a hard 34-17 fall against the Eagles. The Pointers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Pointers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Terique Graham, who threw for 81 yards and a pair of TDs.

Even if they lost, West Point's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Aidan Ratcliffe refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.

West Point now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Westmoreland, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

West Point has already played their next contest, a 26-6 win against Middlesex on the 10th. As for Westmoreland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 68-14 loss against Essex on the 10th.
