Harry S. Truman extends home losing streak to four

The Harry S. Truman Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their eighth straight loss. They fell just short of Hatboro-Horsham by a score of 39-36. Harry S. Truman was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hatboro-Horsham apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.

Harry S. Truman lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Shylah McCleve, who scored 11 points. McCleve scored a full 30.6% of Harry S. Truman's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Erynn Bond, who scored nine points.

Harry S. Truman bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Hatboro-Horsham, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-4.

Harry S. Truman and Pennridge will face off at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Pennridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harry S. Truman in Pennsylvania (Pennridge is ranked 189th, while Harry S. Truman is ranked 471st). Hatboro-Horsham will be home for the holidays to greet New Hope-Solebury at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
