Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Notre Dame

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Notre Dame ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Farmington Knights. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

The victory got Notre Dame back to even at 3-3. As for Farmington, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Notre Dame will head out on the road to square off against Doniphan at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Farmington, they will venture away from home to challenge Fredericktown at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Black Cats have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season.
