Softball Recap: Haskell's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Haskell won against Porter on Tuesday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Haymakers didn't even let the Keys Cougars on the board, marking the Haymakers' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Haymakers, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Haskell and bumps their season record up to 4-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Keys, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Haskell has already played their next game, an 8-1 victory against Vinita on the 21st. As for Keys, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 win against Inola on the 22nd.
