Basketball Recap: Otto-Eldred Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Otto-Eldred posted their biggest victory since February 7th on Monday. Everything went their way against the Northern Potter Panthers as the Otto-Eldred Terrors made off with a 63-40 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-16.

Otto-Eldred found their leader in freshman Baylee Francis, who shot 6-for-9 from long range and dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards. Rayel Hakes was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Otto-Eldred's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Northern Potter, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Otto-Eldred will be playing at home against Galeton at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th. As for Northern Potter, they will face off against Bucktail at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
