Basketball Recap: Los Molinos Bulldogs vs. CORE Butte Lynx
The Los Molinos Bulldogs proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 23) but on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged CORE Butte out 38-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Los Molinos.
Natalie Martinez had a dynamite game for Los Molinos, scoring 22 points. Another player making a difference was Mckenna Michelle, who scored nine points.
Los Molinos' win bumped their record up to 6-16. As for CORE Butte, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Los Molinos and the Wolverines will face off at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for CORE Butte, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
