Basketball Recap: Kayla Eberz Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat St. Mary's

65 must be Archbishop Carroll's lucky number: they beat St. Mary with that score not once but twice on Sunday. The Patriots beat the Lancers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 65-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Archbishop Carroll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kayla Eberz, who posted 21 points. Eberz has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alexis Eberz, who put up 20 points.

Archbishop Carroll's record now sits at 3-4. As for St. Mary's, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
