Basketball Recap: DuBois Takes a Loss

DuBois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 46-17 loss at the hands of the Karns City Gremlins. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 534th, while the Gremlins are ranked 49th).

DuBois' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Karns City, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DuBois will take on Warren at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Karns City, they will face off against Clarion-Limestone at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
