Baseball Recap: Woodward Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodward Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Creekview Grizzlies by a score of 4-2 on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-7 loss on Tuesday.

Carson Ray made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Landon Walker was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

Woodward Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-9 record this season. As for Creekview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-14.

As of now, neither Woodward Academy nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
