Bridge Creek owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Guthrie Bluejays. The Bobcats were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bluejays, so the Bobcats were just returning the favor.

Bridge Creek's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Poppi Greenwood, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. That's the most hits Greenwood has posted over her last seven matchups.

Bridge Creek's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Guthrie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Bridge Creek will challenge Pauls Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Guthrie, they will square off against El Reno at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
