Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stockton Christian). They blew past the Quarry Lane Cougars 57-24 on Tuesday. The Eagles pushed the score to 46-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had little chance of recovering from.

Among those leading the charge was Jami Araya, who posted 21 points. Gianna Rodriguez was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Stockton Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.9 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Quarry Lane and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Stockton Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-39 defeat against Stone Ridge Christian on the 18th. As for Quarry Lane, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-15 loss against Cristo Rey De La Salle on the 14th.
