With a playoff win on the line, Rome rose to the challenge on Friday. They took down the Jackson County Panthers 31-17. The victory was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won 11 games in a row.

Aidan McPherson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 79 yards and two scores, while also throwing for 222 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing touchdowns he has posted since back in August. A healthy portion of McPherson's aerial production (107 yards to be exact) went to Darnell Collins, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Rome's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Jackson County, with the loss, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

As of now, neither Rome nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
