The University Red Devils will be taking part in a tournament against the Redwood Giants at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. University is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

University came up short against Branson on Saturday, falling 4-1. University haven't had much luck with Branson recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

University's goal came courtesy of Annabelle Vandermarck, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Redwood kept a clean sheet against Marin Academy on Tuesday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 1-0 win from a begrudging Redwood squad. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

University's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Redwood, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

University couldn't quite get it done against Redwood in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 2-0. Can the Red Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
