Morrison can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Woodland Cougars. The Wildcats not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 14th (when they won 15-1).

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 6-8. As for Woodland, they dropped their record down to 6-17-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Morrison has already played their next game, a 5-0 loss against Hominy on the 15th. As for Woodland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 defeat against Davenport on the 15th.
