Bluffton and Pandora-Gilboa are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2021, but likely not for long. The Pirates will challenge the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pandora-Gilboa took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Bluffton, who comes in off a win.

Bluffton not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since May 2, 2025 (when they won 12-2). They put the hurt on Cory-Rawson with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Fighting Hornets: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Pandora-Gilboa's offense. They came up short against Allen East on Friday, falling 11-0. The Rockets have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Pandora-Gilboa got a good showing from Tanner Bott, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time Bott hasn't allowed a single earned run since back in April.

Bluffton's win bumped their record up to 3-12-1. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Bluffton got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in March of 2025 against Pandora-Gilboa by a conclusive 23-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
