Chandler took an eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against O'Connor, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Eagles 3-1. The game was the first time the Wolves have beaten the Eagles on their field since February 23, 2023.

Chandler got a great performance from Paxton Brown as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jace Harrell, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Chandler now has a winning record of 2-1. As for O'Connor, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
