Lamar County's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Callaway on Friday. Lamar County never let the McNair Mustangs get on the board and left with a 19-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Lamar County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. This is the second loss in a row for McNair and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lamar County beat McNair by a score of 21-0 later that day.
