Baseball Recap: Norcross Comes Up Short

Norcross lost against Lanier back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Devils took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns.

Norcross has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season. As for Lanier, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-21.

Coming up, Norcross will head out to face off against Duluth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lanier, they will welcome Cherokee Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Longhorns' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
