Basketball Recap: Meadowbrook Christian Triumphs

If Juniata Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Meadowbrook Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Madalyn Fasnacht. Meadowbrook Christian breezed past Juniata Christian to the tune of 36-3 on Friday thanks in part to Fasnacht, who went 6-for-9 on her way to 16 points and eight steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 41 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Lauren Dugan, who posted two points and four steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Meadowbrook Christian's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Juniata Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

As of now, neither Meadowbrook Christian nor Juniata Christian have any future games scheduled.
