Softball Recap: Alamosa Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Alamosa came out on top against Forge Christian on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run third inning. The Mean Moose took their contest against the Fury 9-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mean Moose also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Alamosa's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Forge Christian, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Alamosa will head out to take on Burlington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Forge Christian, they will take on Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed ten runs per game on average), something the Fury will no doubt try to take advantage of.
