Grayson McElroy Game Report: @ Merkel

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Grayson McElroy: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made five total tackles (1.0 for loss) as Hawley took down Merkel 51-34. We certainly expect to see more performances from McElroy considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Hawley's road trip will continue as they head out to face De Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. De Leon will enter the matchup having just beaten Valley Mills, so Hawley will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
