Oxford Academy proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 36) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged the Santa Ana Saints out 52-49. The victory was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on three straight.

When it comes to explaining why Santa Ana lost, don't look at Cynthia Silva. Despite the final result, she posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave Silva a new career-high. Jazmine Kalleigh Solis was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Oxford Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Santa Ana, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Oxford Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 38-29 defeat against La Quinta on the 2nd. Santa Ana has also already played their next game, a 51-49 victory against Katella on the 3rd.
