The matchup between Morrow and Lovejoy on Tuesday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Morrow Mustangs' defense stepped up to hand the Lovejoy Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won three matches in a row.

Their offense was hitting Lovejoy from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Emiliano Garcia led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Morrow's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lovejoy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morrow will host Langston Hughes at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lovejoy, they will be playing at home against Dutchtown at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
