Lisbon took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Northeast, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Lions won by a run and slipped past the Rebels 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Lisbon pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Northeast, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Lisbon has already played their next game (against Davenport West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northeast, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-3 win against Anamosa on the 19th.
