Baseball Recap: Forsyth Central Comes Up Short

Forsyth Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to the South Forsyth War Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-3 defeat on Wednesday.

Forsyth Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for South Forsyth, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Forsyth Central is set to take on their familiar foe West Forsyth at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Forsyth will face off against rival North Atlanta at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
