Recap: Dos Palos Broncos vs. Tranquillity Tigers
The Dos Palos Broncos had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Tranquillity 34-19 on Tuesday. The victory was just what Dos Palos needed coming off of a 62-20 defeat in their prior match.
Dos Palos found their leader in underclassman Hannah Slimp, who scored 19 points. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Slimp has scored at least a third of Dos Palos' points. Another player making a difference was Athena Correa, who scored nine points.
