After a string of four wins, Tucker's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Tucker couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Abenezer Kebede, who's now up to four this season.

Tucker's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tucker will head out to take on Northview at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tucker is facing Northview at the right time seeing as Northview is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for St. Pius X Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Southwest DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Pius X Catholic will be up against Southwest DeKalb's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.29 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
