Basketball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

Belmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Roybal Titans, falling 58-27. That's two games in a row now that the Sentinels have lost by exactly 31 points.

Belmont's record is now 1-8. As for Roybal, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Belmont has already played their next match (against Bernstein), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Roybal will take on Contreras at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Roybal has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
