Volleyball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

Stafford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Freeman Golden Eagles, falling 3-0.

Stafford was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-19, 25-18.

Jazzmine Rhodes paced Stafford's offense, picking up nine kills. Rhodes got some help from Elizabeth Girmachew and her 23 assists.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 10-18. As for Freeman, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-23.

Stafford has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Fort Bend Willowridge on the 3rd. As for Freeman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Harmony School of Innovation on the 3rd.
