Soccer Recap: Lowry Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Lowry was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the South Tahoe Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lowry of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Their goal came courtesy of Maite Avalos, who's now up to six this season.

Lowry's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for South Tahoe, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3-2.

Looking ahead, Lowry will head out on the road to square off against Sparks at 10:00 a.m. on the 6th. As for South Tahoe, they have already played their next game, a 6-0 win against Churchill County on the 30th.
