It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Vista del Lago had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Tri-City Christian Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Ravens, who have now won nine matches in a row.

Araceli Thomas and Daya King scored both of Vista del Lago's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Vista del Lago pushed their record up to 16-12-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five games. As for Tri-City Christian, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5-2.

Vista del Lago didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Whittier Christian on the 8th. Tri-City Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
