Soccer Game Preview: Palm Desert vs. Shadow Hills

The Palm Desert Aztecs will challenge the Shadow Hills Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palm Desert's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Palm Desert fought the good fight in their overtime match against Rancho Mirage on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rattlers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Shadow Hills kept a clean sheet against Xavier Prep on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Saints 1-0. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one goal.

Shadow Hills is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season. As for Palm Desert, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-4.
